Hello, and welcome to my website. I specialise in High Quality animal and pet portraits in pastel. My work includes portraits of Dogs, Cats, Horses, Wild Animals and Birds. I am an active member of the York Art Society as well as the East Riding Artists. I am originally from Beijing in China and have lived in the UK for over 10 years.
A portrait is an ideal gift for a loved one or friend something a bit special for a Birthday or Anniversary or a special picture to remember a friend. I also undertake commissions of wild animals such as, Fox’s, Hares, wild garden birds and birds of prey.
I am passionate about animals and love to record moments of their beauty, expression and my interpretation of their emotion on the paper in great detail. I love the texture and the vibrant colour the soft pastel can provide. I constantly develop, experiment and explore new techniques each time I face a new subject. Commission works are welcome, I love the challenge and I would love to think my painting of your chosen subject will accompany you for a long long time.
